Seven Izzup was conceptualized when we decided to try to brew one of our most refreshing DIPA’s yet. This batch features a slight hop upgrade to bring you even more Lemon Lime goodness. We used a large percentage wheat grain bill, Motueka and Citra in the whirlpool and then dry hopped it with additional Citra, Motueka, and Lemondrop! If that wasn’t enough, we conditioned it on fresh lemon and lime zest to finish it off. Crack a can open and you’ll instantly grab a hoppy bursts with a touch of lemon and lime. The flavor is crisp and matches the aroma with a bright and spritzy assortment of citrus, lime, and earth while the pillowy mouthfeel makes this a total crusher. The #EQjuice finish is extremely bright and refreshing and we are excited to bring you the second batch! Nothing does it like Seven Izzup, a real thirst quencher.

When Pete and Mike were on a Zoom call catching up, this scary Stuffed Wombat from Pete’s Aussie trip was in the background not far from his Ninja Sword. When we decided to make a beer together, this collaboration basically wrote itself and we had to Immortalize it.
Combat Wombat is an all Victorian Galaxy DIPA that pours bright yellow with striking aromas and flavors of clean citrus, pineapple, assorted melon, and grass with our #EQfinish and a touch of balanced bitterness. Juicy and smooth, we love the sole representation of one of our best Galaxy crops yet!

Ohm’s Law is the basic law of electricity. An Ohm (represented in schematics with the greek letter “Ω”) defines the unit of resistance between two points in a conductor. The application of 1 volt will push 1 ampere resulting in movement of an electric charge.
For the next installment in our series that explores all things electrical; we used Citra, Belma, and Galaxy with a heavy wheat and oat base. Ohm pours electric yellow with bright notes of papaya, passionfruit, lychee, assorted citrus, peach skins, and lime green Sixlets candy. The finish is bright with a creamy mouthfeel and a beautiful pop of #EQjuice. The 10% ABV is well hidden making it easy to overload your circuits with too many sips. , we are pleased to bring you, Barrel Aged Life After Death Star, a collaboration with
J. Wakefield Brewing

Mostra Coffee
. We immediately put some of Batch 1 LADS’s thick and decadent base into bourbon barrels for a metamorphosis that has exceeded expectations. Following its time in barrels, we added shredded raw coconut, marshmallow, vanilla, and Ghost Bear Espresso Blend coffee from the 2020 Micro Roaster of the year, Mostra.
Barrel Aged Life After Death Star clugs its way out of the bottle pouring jet black and develops a tan head while releasing notes of straight fudge, bourbon, coconut macaroon, vanilla bean, marshmallow, barrel-derived marshmallow, and marshmallows soaked in bourbon. The flavor is absolutely harmonious with notes of brownie batter, more bourbon-soaked marshmallows, caramel, and balanced coffee melded into an integrated and perfectly blended luxurious finish with a touch of oak. This beer is a culmination of friends, collaboration, and all of the effort we have put forth into our BA program and we are excited for you to try it.

Hop Wave 2 takes one of our favorite DIPAs, dHop2, supersizes the hop charge and adds a touch of lactose. Hop Wave 2 pours a murky tangerine color, releasing notes of bright tropical juice, pulpy tangerine, and earthy grass. The taste is dank-citrus slices, fresh pineapple juice, and a touch of lime with an escalating bright #EQjuice finish that builds into smooth hop frosting.

Life After Death Star pours a viscous jet black and develops a caramel head upon pouring releasing beautifully balanced notes of deep espresso coffee paired with flavors of fudge, creamy marshmallow, just scrapped vanilla, double chocolate brownie batter, and light coconut throughout. This beer is extremely smooth, luxurious, and creamy. We are extremely pleased with the second batch and it definitely begs the question, “Is batch 1 always better, bro?”
We will also sell a limited amount of Mostra Ghost Bear Espresso Blend bags tomorrow at retail. This was the same blend used in the creation of LADS. With an origin from the Philippines and Latin America, this blend has notes of Dark Chocolate, Stone Fruit, Caramelized Sugar. $25 per 14oz bag. This is our first collab with our friends from
Spyglass Brewing
. Harmonic Wavelengths represents people living in harmony with each other. Both sides living together peacefully rather than fighting or arguing and instead focus on finding solutions.
Based off a scaled-up version of Wavelength, we used a base of oats and wheat for a creamy and velvety smooth beer before a whirlpool of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. We then dry hopped the beer with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Galaxy.
Harmonic Wavelengths pours bright yellow and has aroma and flavors of
citrus, papaya, and pineapple with some apricot flesh, dank berries and smarties candy. With a soft and crushable mouthfeel, our #EQjuicefinish sneaks up with a pop of flavors that that will have your tastebuds in a harmonic happiness… Lets all get on the same wavelength . .
Scorpion Zoom Bowl

This beer was created during a tiki inspired Zoom call check-in in with our homies. We used a blend of wheat, oats, and lactose and conditioned it on Plums, Oranges, Lemons, and Orgeat (think almonds and orange).
Our second most asked question is when are you going to make a Sour IPA? (right behind, when are you shipping to NJ?). Here are a few more:
-Acid Level: Balanced. We used new tech from our farmhouse program to brew a very gentle and elegant acid profile (refined base TABAs and Austin coming soon!). The beer is not kettle soured as we prefer our cultures sour profile from a longer souring process at room temp.
-Fruit: Refermented to a stable gravity, cold crashed, and separated. This did not go through a centrifuge.
-SIPA vs fruited farmhouse/wild sours (Austin/TABA)? 1) SIPAs final gravity is comparable to our IPAs vs a very dry finish; 2) the SIPA hopping rates are elevated and 3) The SIPA contains no Brettanomyces.
-What about Cotton Candy Skies? We love this beer. Unfortunately, we ran into problems where it jammed up our centrifuge and we unable to can it. Instead, CCS beer will be bottled and barreled with some Brett. We will rebrew CCS and can it as a SIPA in the near future.
Scorpion Zoom Bowl starts with a bright pop of citrus and plum supported by almond and marzipan exuding from its thick head. The flavor is tropical tiki, pink grapefruit, and almond with a lingering citrus and gentle bitterness to keep this adult beverage without being too sweet. The flavor profile is balanced acidity and a soft well-rounded body while maintaining a high level of drinkability.

It’s a pleasure to release our first collab with Justen from @electricbrewingco, someone we have become fast friends with after having so much in common (Stay tuned for the brisket collab). Science & Sorcery takes elements, themes, and processes from both breweries and melds them into one magical potion.
We start off with a giant base off of oats and wheat and a massive dose of Citra and Galaxy (Think close to Space Dream Lab rates). Science & Sorcery pours an ELECTRIC yellow with aromas and flavors of tropical passionfruit, papaya, pineapple, melon, and key lime. Soft and crushable, this beer is straight juice with a velvety and creamy mouthfeel and an extreme #EQjuice finish that will have you seeing apparitions and wondering… is there actually a difference between science and sorcery?

Next in our Lupo Lab series, we used an experimental concentrate of Sabro and Citra lupulin from the LUPOMAX line, from our friends John I. Haas, Inc. The benefits of LUPOMAX is the concentrated hop character without adding negative aspects of overusing hops (No Burn). Lupo Lab Sabro / Citra uses our fluctuation grain bill and both LUPOMAX Sabro and LUPOMAX Citra for an intense flavor profile.
Pouring a deep murky yellow color, Lupo Lab Sabro / Citra offers a citrus and cantaloupe nose with flavors of dank tropical fruit, ripe peach, papaya, and melon sorbet.
The flavor profile is intense and is a cross between a fresh cut orange slices, ripe watermelon and those strawberry hard candies Grandma had in her candy dish. This beer is soft with an escalating brightness that’s leads into our #EQjuice finish. A fun one for sure!
